No. AIDS is not an infectious disease.
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is the virus that causes someone to develop AIDS. HIV is transmitted through contact with infected blood, semen, vaginal fluid or breast milk.
HIV is not transmitted through cigarettes.

∙ 11y agoNO, absolutely not! in order to get HIV there has to be some kind of fluid to bodily fluid exchange. Like semen or vaginal fluids coming in contact with your blood or the use of dirty needles in tattooing or drug use. Really? please think people, HIV, AIDS has been with us for over 20 years or more now. I'm 45 and first learned about HIV and how it was transmitted in 9TH grade high school health class. Did I pay attention then? NO. I've had HIV, AIDS since October of 1990. I graduated from school in 1985.
