see your vet. augmentin may work, amox is unlikely to, but usually ear drops with antibiotic/antifungal/steroid are what I've seen used.
Yep :) but u should talk to a doc first always consalult ur doc
Yes you can. Just make sure that the human strength is the same as what the vet has prescribed. It has the exact same thing in it as the dog version. I have double checked this with my vet and my doctor.
Any medication given to your pet should be prescribed or recommended by a qualified veterinarian, rather than an online question board.
my dog is seven years old she had a cold can i give her 250 milligram of amoxicillin antibiotics and how often.
Consult your veterinarian. Do not administer medication to a dog, unless you have specific directions on dosage.
Yes They can.
I'd check with your vet first, aspirin can upset the stomach, not all antbiotics will agree with pets, if your vet gave you the amoxicillin did they mention to give aspirin also? Aspirin not recommended by your vet can be fatal to your dog. Never ever give aspirin made for human consumption to your dogs.
The doseage of amoxicillin depends upon the formulation, the route of administration, the infection being treated and the dog's overall health status. You would need to ask your veterinarian this question, particularly since in the United States at least amoxicillin is a prescription-only drug that you can't give to your dog without a veterinary prescription.
I need help. I have an 80lb dog and I need to buy amoxicillin what will be the doseage should i get him?
Noroclav is a version of Amoxicillin which is an antibiotic. It is used for all types of infection. My dog is on it at present after cutting her paw.she does seem a little lethargic and appears to be drinking more, but have been told this is quite normal.Hope this helps
Depends on the dog's size and weight and what's the matter with the dog. One dose amount does not fit all. Even though amoxicillin is pretty broad based, it may not be the correct drug. If it isn't, you can make the problem worse by administering it and making the bacterial infection more antibiotic resistant. Before giving any Rx, consult your Vet.
You should give the dog whatever the vet perscribes you when you take it there to get its ears checked.
If it's made for humans, no.
