Can an 18 year old move out of their parents' home if they are still in high school in Arizona?
When a person reaches the age of 18, he or she is considered an adult. As such, the person can move out of his or her parents house and the parents cannot prevent them from doing so. Similarly when a child reaches the age of 18, the parents are no longer required by law to provide support for them. If you have the money to sustain yourself or you have a job that can sustain you, you can move out. However if you move out, you may lose out any support you are receiving from your parents.

They are under the care of their parents or legal guardians, who are required to provide for them and in return get to "be the boss of" them. So, if you're still in high school and your parents say you have to remain in the house, then you pretty much have to remain in the house. Read More

I do not know legally, yet I have an 18 year old who is a senior, and if they still have the parents information I feel they should, personally i believe it is their moral responsbility.
