No, the first step of going to US for marriage will be difficult like applying for a Fiance VISA the National Statistic Office will not issue the certificate of singleness which is a requirement in the US embassy. And in an instance that one goes to US without processing the Fiance VISA (assuming one has an existing approved US VISA), the marriage license will be filed in the Phil. embassy which can trace the existing marriage in PH. But anyway I would suggest to settle your marriage in PH first.

Depends. As long as you are a legal United States citizen, you can get married legally to another person. However, since your fiance is from the Philippines, she is considered an illegal alien. If you plan on bringing her into the U.S., she will need a visa, with an I-94 stamp, and she would need to go through the process of becoming an American citizen. The marriage is not legally binding if one partner is illegal. it all depends on where you get your marriage license and everything. Visit the U.S. government website to see how she can become a citizen after you guys get married. (Yes, you have to wait until after you get married to pretty much have her become a citizen--it's very difficult to get married to an illegal immigrant here)

Marrying a US citizen will not get you US citizenship. You have to meet the residency and other requirements and apply for naturalization, just like everyone else.

By law, the United States does not recognize dual-marriage. You must divorce your current husband and your new fiance must apply for a "fiance visa" through the US Citizenship and Immigration Services. Then, once your status has been adjusted you will be awarded a temporary status and from there must apply for your greencard via the I-485 application. Once you have been a permanent resident (or a greencard holder) for a certain definitive period of time, you are then eligible to apply for naturalization to become an American citizen.

Wherever you are married, provided the ceremony was performed according to the laws of the country where you were married, your marriage is effective and recognised in all other countries of the world.

If you wish to become divorced, again, provided you do this according to the laws of the country where you are living, the divorce is recognised by all countries in the world. However, once divorced your immigration status may alter.

By US law, this would be bigamy and illegal. I don't know about Philippine law, but I strongly suspect it's illegal there also.

If you are married in the Philippines if you come to American on a visitor visa can you get a divorce from your philippino husband can you get married in the US and would it be legal?

No. Your "marriage" to a United States Citizen will be considered bigamy and you can be put in prison for a long time, not only here in the U.S. for trying to commit a measure of fraud, but I would most likely think that there are harsh repercussions for this insane act of Bigamy in the Philippines as well. There is no such thing as Divorce in the Philippines. You would have to first file for an Annulment from your Filipino husband and then when all is clear, you can marry.

Yes. No matter which of the two countries you were married in, you are married until one of you dies or you get a judgment of divorce signed by a judge.
