∙ 18y agoI had a abnormal period, but found out I was not pregnant. Its my understanding that although pregnancy can occur right before your period starts or during if you have unprotected sex buts it very very very unlikely.

∙ 18y agono Hello there. Usually heavy bleeding is not associated with pregnancy. Because of this I would think the possibility of pregnancy being unlikely. But do a pregnancy test to be certain and see your doctor for a blood test. Take care.

∙ 9y agoIf you're menstruating then you're not pregnant.
Menstruation is what happens if you don't get pregnant, when the egg is not fertilized the uterus lining breaks down so it can start a fresh next cycle in case you get pregnant next cycle. If you were pregnant ovulation and menstruation would be suppressed, bleeding could also mean the uterus lining wasn't going to support the fertilized egg and thus you would potentially miscarry.
Chances are a longer period is just a long period, they happen sometimes.
