Parsnip is not recommended for rabbits because it is high in natural sugars. Some sources list it as a poisonous food for rabbits (see link below). Some people have fed parsnip to their rabbits, and nothing bad happened, but there are so many foods that are known to be safe, so most experts recommend sticking to those and avoiding questionable foods (like parsnip). Even if you choose not to avoid parsnip, feed it only sparingly -- it is not a suitable food for rabbits as a regular part of their diet, because it is high in natural sugars. A healthy rabbit diet is made up of lots and lots of hay, fresh water, fresh dark-coloured leafy greens, and high-quality rabbit pellets; any other foods (fresh fruits and vegetables) should be limited as treats.
