This all depends on how hard they push your child, and how well your child takes to it. Many gymnastics coaches watch will your child and learn how far they can go. They should not do anything that will hurt or damage your child. In competitive gymnastics you will always start at the lowest level and work your way up, but it all depends on your child's abilities. In short, it is basically a self pace thing. But if you have doubts, talk to the coaches ad find out as much as you can about what kind of conditioning there is and what kind of things they will be doing.
