Honey won't help the diarrhea & might cause it to get worse. You should take your dog in to be checked out by your Veterinarian. Bring in a small sample of your dog's feces too. He or she could have internal parasites, ate something bad, a symptom of coming down with a virus like Parvo, or has a bacterial infection. That is why it is important to have your dog checked out by a Vet. Make sure your dog has plenty of water to drink so he or she doesn't get dehydrated. Put some Pedialyte in the water. Make sure you are feeding your dog a good name brand of dry dog food, not some cheap generic food. Feed a bland diet while he or she has diarrhea such as cottage cheese, boiled hamburger & rice.
