None; dogs are not small humans and do not react like humans do to human medications. Giving a dog a human drug without first getting permission and a dosage from your veterinarian is likely to make your dog very sick, if not outright kill him or her.

If you dog is coughing, he or she should be taken to a vet. There are several bacterial infections that can cause this that are easily treated with antibiotics, which are usually generic and not too expensive.

No. There are cough tabs available from your vet. It is recommended that you see the vet to determine why your dog is coughing. The coughing could stem from kennel cough, heartworms, or infection.

How do you treat a dog with a kennel cough?

ALWAYS. It's scientific name is tracheobronchitis. It is similar to bronchitis in human beings in that it involves either a viral or bacterial infection with expectorating cough, can progress to pneumonia, is quickly and easily contagious, and is treated with antibiotics. In that, there is good news, for while kennel cough is easily caught, it is also fairly easy to ameliorate. Get thee dog to a veterinarian.
