I have heard rumors that scientists have discovered a way of doing it but remember it was a rumor!

but l think it's true!!^^

Scientists have begun attempting to bring back extinct animals by making a clone using DNA found in fossils. I do not know if they have succeeded

No! If we clone , it would make a big issue but scientist wants to know more about animals in prehistoric times. So scientist are studying how to clone ancient and extinct animals.

Yes and no. Yes, because it would be interesting to study the animal's behaviour, and no, because dead is dead. Look what happened to mammals after the dinosaurs went extinct!
