It depends on the engine i can move the flywheel on my little 4cyl but theres no way i could move it by hand power in my 460 Ford
automatically manually
May have to be turned off manually Auto sensor bad
Could be either a defective starter drive or a broken tooth on flywheel Try turn the engine manually (large socket on crankshaft) to see if it will start- if so problem is a broken tooth - if not problem is probably a bad starter drive. (make sure vehicle is in neutral if std.)
The dome lights work automatically and manually. If you have manually turned on a dome light, you must manually turn it off. If it was turned on automatically, it will automatically turn off. On my 2005 model, there is a dash switch to select(Manual)On/Automatic/(Manual)Off. This switch works on all dome lights but will not turn off an individual light that was turned on (pushed in)individually. If you have a passenger that has turned on a dome light, you/they must turn it off manually. Children are particularly prone to leaving individual dome lights on (and it doesn't even have to be dark out), so you should check periodically to assure that your battery is not drained.
you have to drop the transmission and the cluch's pressure plate will be bolted to the engine's flywheel. you unbolt about 6 blots and take the pressure plate and the clutch disk out and make sure you get the pilot bushing and have the flywheel turned unless you are replacing the flywheel too. then torque the bolts to reqs and clutches are usually around 15 to 24 foot pounds on fords
Be sure the dome light switch is not turned on manually.
solid disc type flywheel rim type flywheel
No. The flywheel is dependent on the transmission.
becaus the 2004 Chevy impala does not have automatic lights and they have to be turned off manually
Besides the smart alec answer "start an automobile", a starter has a small gear, that will both extend as well as rotate when the key is turned. This gear will engage teeth on the flywheel/flexplate, which is bolted to the rear of the crankshaft. As the starter turns, the engine will be turned.

Why does my flywheel keep bending..
