I have had a few garden ponds in my time and while they do require some maintenance, they are a great way to create your own yard feature.
The idea of frogs and fish in the same pond is very natural and they never bother each other when in their older stages. However, when frogs are in the tadpole/pollywog stage, fish will eat them if they get a chance.
In regards to the frogs and fish eggs, tadpoles eat algae and older frogs eat insects.

Goldfish can be left in a pond with other fish and frogs. This might be dangerous if the fish are extremely large, because they can eat the goldfish. The goldfish will often eat the bugs.
