Pretty sure that's only for your rear end...

Its supposed to relax your bowels, last I checked the womb was not classified as such.

Now, if you plan on taking the baby out that end then yeah Exlax probably will.

It really worked for me! Within a week I was thinned and had contractions 3 minutes apart! I was 37 weeks and had a 7lb 15oz healthy little boy with no complications at all! My labor pains were minimal. I believe that the raspberry leaf tea that I had throughout the pregnancy played a part of that as well. Heather Barnes

Though laxatives get the ball rolling in the bowel department, trust me a 3 time mom who's tried it all laxatives including stimulant and non stimulant aggressive and non do nothing more to bring on labor than sex or pineapples or cohosh. Infact you spend what few comfortable hours you may have in the bathroom with cruel unhelpful vomiting and loose outputs. Sorry to dampen that theory but if your anything like me or the majority of pregnant women post 36 weeks you are going to try it anyway so keep liquids close by and in your system to prevent the painful onset of cramps. Been there, done that!

Does cumin tea really work to induce labor?

It is believed to help induce women after their due date. I tried it a few times and it did not work. But, that does not mean it wouldn't work for someone else. If your body and baby are not ready for labor, it probably wont do anything.

Does blacktea help induce labor?

I have heard that raspberry tea will bring on strong (painful) contractions. I don't know if it will necessarily mean that you will go into labor. At this point, we are desperate to try anything, though!!!!

Will raspberry leaf tea help induce labor after the due date?

AnswerRaspberry Leaf tea is not for induction of labor. It's great to drink during your third trimester, however, to tone the uterus. It's said to aid in having better, more effective contractions and quicker labor. It is not dangerous and the recommendation is three cups a day from the start of your third trimester to be best effective.http://www.pregnancy-info.net/QA/answers-can_raspberry_tea_help_induce_labour_naturally/Do_raspberry_leaf_tea_capsules_work_to_induce_laborhttp://www.askbaby.com/induce-labour.htmhttp://www.bringemup.com/articles/13/natural-ways-to-induce-labour.html

Can lavender oil help induce labor?

Lavender Oil for Inducing LaborNo. Lavender has a calming effect. It would be great for you while you are in labour to keep you calm, but other than that, it won't encourage it. More input:No, Lavender Oil cannot help induce labor, but sex can. Also tea with natural licorice root can help. Walking, exercise and any moderate activity will help and make labor easier. Always check with your physician first though. For more information visit http://www.justaromatherapy.co.uk/acatalog/Lavender_Essential_Oil.html
