we usually use the news paper to line it and put saw dust and hay on top of it but i think news paper as bedding is fine as my piggy usually tears it up to add to its bedding any way. ∙ 15y agoYes, it is safe. The animal may eat some of the paper. If the animal eats too much of it, you may have to remove the paper.

∙ 14y agoIt's not the safest material to use. Ur guinea pig may eat it causing them to choke. It works well as a linning but i recomend to use some kind of shaving. Hope this was helpful!
