It depends on the catfish. if it is a small catfish ( 1-5 inches) sometimes the angelfish will try to eat it. if it is a medium sized catfish (6-9inches) you will be fine. BUT if you get a large catfish (10 inches and over) it will terrorize your angelfish by nipping at the angelfishes fins and if big enough will eat it. some of the catfish you can mix is a Cory catfish, Redtail catfish, upside down catfish and rubber lip catfish but that is all. Another thing is you should get the fish when they are young because angelfish are territorial.
one last thing is that to mix the two fish you should get a tank 25 gallons or over or they will be too crammed and die even though 25 gallons is pretty large angelfish can grow up to 10 inches and all of the catfish that can mix can grow up to 7 inches
Well so far my 11" koi and my 3" koi are doing great with my two 4 1/2" upside down catfish...
I also had yellow zebra that did well but unfortunately ran into bad luck when they where swallowed whole by the catfish, I say swallowed because no trace of all four were ever found.

It depends on the species of catfish.
Koi are cold-water fish, and most catfish prefer temperate to tropical temperature.
North American catfish species would be a decent choice to keep with koi, however the aquarium would need to be extremely large due to the potential size of the catfish, and some catfish.
Guppies only grow to 2 inches long at most. Pangasius species are very large Asian fish and are what you buy to eat as Basa fillets. They would eat any guppies in their tank very quickly.
I have an Oscar Cichlid in the same tank as mine and I also used to have it with guppy's.
Yes it would. Generally any fish will live in tank so long as the environment is correct for that species. Catfish are pretty tough and should be OK.
Almost no fish can live without a pump. Unless you don't care if it live do four hours. A catfish can live in a 5 gallon tank for maybe a month. Then you would have to buy a bigger tank. The smallest catfish grows to about 5-6 inches. A good thumb rule: 1 inch of fish per gallon. I hope this helped! :):)
Can you have three pictus catfish in a five gallon fish tank
Yes. to be accurate These fish should be kept in an aquarium with a sandy bottom.
I once saw a catfish in my fish tank swim up and take food away from the pyranha I had in there with him. That pyranah absolutely would not mess with that catfish amd they were about the same length.
Provided the tank is large enough and the catfish is a tropical species there should be no problems.
maybe
No catfish is an aquarium cleaner. There is no such thing as a fish that will clean a tank.
As long as the tank water is clean, and the fish are being fed properly, the catfish may just be entertaining itself by swimming that way.
i have 1 female betta 1 platy 4 neon tetras and 2 catfish in my tank and they all get along fine
