NO! leek is poisinous to horses and other animals. Always ask a vet about things you are unsure of. Horses are rather vulnerable animals when it comes to ingesting plants and other substances that can be harmful to them. The reason is that horses do not have the ability to throw up. What goes in can only come out one way, and if it fails to do so, you horse will develop colic. This can be minor enough that you can give your horse some pain killer (see vet for correct doseage) and it will pass though, or it can be deadly. Not many horse owners have the money to pay for a colic operation that is not always succesful. The lobelia plant is also harmful to your horse.
no horses do not eat leeks horses don't eat leeks.it would kill them and you don't want that.
If horses are feed leeks, they will get sick.

No, no, of course not! Leeks are highly toxic to horses, along with red maple. Never feed your horse, or let your horse get near, leeks or red maple.
Horses like every vegetable except broccoli, sprouts and leeks!
A horse will try and eat broccoli but you should never feed it to them as it is bad for them. It can cause very painful gas colic that may need emergency equine veterinarian attention.

Grass will always be a horses favorite food as this is what they evolved to eat. However good quality hay is a close second to grass. Some horses have a bit of a sweet tooth and enjoy certain types of fruits and vegetables.
Horses typically prefer grass and hay, but also like to eat fruits like apples, bananas, grapefruit and more. For Vegetables they tend to like carrots, celery, beets. As for treats you can give them horse cookies. Peppermints are really advised as they contain too much sugar.
