Since plain water is not used anywhere on a vehicle, it must be getting in through the shifter boot.

you fill up the manual gearbox on the top through the beather nut , it has a white plastic cap on the top and use the correct oil
Between your shifter and the gearbox, there is a linkage. A connector is broken.
You fill it through the dipstick hole.
You can top off the oil in the gearbox on a 206 Zest by removing the fill plug on the top of the gearbox and using a funnel to fill with oil.
Side of the gearbox is a 17mm hex plug. That is the filler level plug. Easiest access is through the n/s wheel arch.

first of all there is a drain and fill access point on the trans case under the car.. you dont fill it from the shifter.. once the fluid starts leaking out of the fill hole that means it is full.
Take out the VSS and fill trough the sensor hole.
You need to replace an oil seal on the gearbox.
