well I'm only eleven but i know the answer, yes it does but if you want to know how its makes acid rain it got something to do with the atmosphere and carbon dioxide
Re:
What the heck? Obviously methane has to do with the atmosphere and carbon dioxide, OH radicals in the atmosphere break methane into carbon dioxide and water. But no, methane does NOT cause acid rain! Acid rain is caused by sulphur and nitrogen oxides in clouds. Methane is simply a green-house-gas, it can't cause acid rain because it has a pKa of ~56 (weak acid), which is why a strong base such as OH- is required to break it.

Acid rain results from the introduction of sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere. These products result from sulfur impurities and high-temperature combustion. When methane is burned the products are carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and water vapor.
No methane can not cause acid rain; it has a pKa of ~56 (a weak acid). Sulphates and Nitrates are the main culprits of acid rain.

Neither. Methane is neutral.
no it is a gass
No. It is methane, a hydrocarbon.
When vapours of nitric acid and Methane gas are heated in a closed container, Nitro methane and water vapours are produce , CH4 + HNO3 --- heat---> CH3-NO2 + H2O
Methane and acetic acid are examples of organic compounds which are defined as compounds that contain carbon.
Not really - the gases they give off are mainly methane.
Neither. Methane is neutral.
Nonrenewable resources cause pollution; also they cause acid rain and greenhouse effect when burned

No. It rains methane on Titan.
acid
of course, all the time man
It is considered to be an organic chemical.
Yes it does cos the stomach doesnt stop producing acid and if the acid piles up without seeing anything to digest, it erodes the linings of the stomach.
