They can if you help protect them. If your rabbit lives in an outdoor hutch then its important it has lots of hay. The water bottle or sprout may freeze so the use of an open heavy pot may be good.

Sort of. Rabbits get overheated faster than we do and enjoy the cold better as they may overheat starting at 70 or 80 degrees. And nobody likes the wet so if you have a hutch for your outdoor rabbit, please be sure that the roof has no leaks :)

Yes, and quite well. They have fur coats. I assume you are talking about domestic rabbits as wild rabbits live outdoors all the time. An appropriate cage with protection from the wind and a cozy nest box stuffed with straw is all that is required. They of course must have fresh water twice a day when it is freezing outside and plenty of fresh pellets daily.

Rabbits can play in the snow, but not for long stretches. You can let the rabbit play in the snow for about 10-15 minutes. If the rabbit starts hopping toward something dry, like a rock without snow, that means it's cold and wants to go back someplace warm. If you want to let your rabbit play in the snow, give it the freedom to hop back inside: don't dump it in the snow in an area it can't get away from. If your rabbit gets wet, bring him inside and keep him in a very warm place free from drafts until he is completely dry.

Rabbits living outdoors are more adapted to the weather, so they can be allowed in the snow indefinitely but they must ALWAYS have access to a warm, dry, well-protected spot. If the rabbits get cold or tired, they MUST be able to find a warm place. If the rabbits get wet, they MUST be thoroughly dried off: a wet rabbit in even cool temperatures can develop hypothermia.

Temperatures under 55 degrees Fahrenheit (13 degrees Celsius) can be uncomfortable-to-dangerous for a rabbit, and dangerous if combined with moisture and/or breezes. At these temperatures, outdoor rabbits must be provided with warm places away from moisture and breezes where they can snuggle together deep into some hay or something so they can contain their body heat.

Temperatures under 50 Fahrenheit (4 Celsius) can be very dangerous (hypothermia, frostbite): at these temps, outdoor rabbits must be brought inside or provided with a heated enclosure (like a shed or something, but it must be artificially heated).

Another risk involved with snow is, if your rabbit eats any -- which they'll do if very hungry/thirsty, or simply if they're foolish (domestic rabbits have lost many of their wild instincts) -- this can lead to digestive problems, GI stasis, and death.

They have fur. I don't know if other rabbits can live in the snow but the rabbits that already live in the snow probably have MORE fur.
