The typical pool tables can have their rails removed as a single assembly, by removal of the bolts underneath. This is done when the reason for disassembly is to replace the surface cloth. Prior to removal of rails, the ball return must be disconnected, if the table has one.
If full disassembly is needed, the surface cloth must be removed after the rails - this is typically just ripped ff, and all brads or staples underneath removed. This exposes the slate and its screw holes, which are covered with plaster. A small screwdriver is used to ship out the plaster and a large screwdriver to remove the slate screws. Once the slate is lifted off, all the bolts securing the table foundation are exposed and these nuts and bolts are removed.
From the factory, all parts are marked, but check to be sure as the table is disassembled. The table will need expensive professional squaring if the parts are not marked and assembly is attempted.

∙ 13y agoStart with removing the thin boards of wood on the outside of the cushions, they slide sideways, maybe the pockets should be removed or at least the net. Now you see the bolts which holds the side cushions in place, remove, then remove the staples underneath holding the phelt. Drag the 5 slates outward, pins hold them together. Unscrew the oak frame. 3 hours worth for 2 ppl i guess.

∙ 11y agoA Connelly table is a quality table and is disassembled the same as any other quality table. Remove the ball return and ball catch. Remove the rails as an assembly by removing hte bolts underneath. Remove the surface cloth. Remove the plaster filling the slate screw holes and remove the slate hold down screws. After removing the slate, all nuts and bolts for he table foundation are exposed and these are removed to complete the disassembly.

∙ 11y agoUnfortunately, 7 foot tables don't have a standard for construction like 8 to 10 foot tables do. The first thing to look for is removal of the rails. If there are side boards, these need to be removed first to remove the ball return to be able to finish rail removal. After rail removal, the rest is easy. But again there is no standard. The surface is most likely one piece, so look for attaching bolts underneath. If it is slate, it may be screwed down and require cloth removal. After the surface is removed, all other bolts will be exposed and the rest of the disassembly will be easy.
