I was just researching this and found this web site. http://www.tennesseecheesecake.com/FAQS.html It indicates you can (with their cheesecake by rewrapping it appropriately). I'm stretching to include Cheesecake Factory cheesecake (and others) in this advise. If we get sick I'll send a follow up!!! : )
I've tried this and it does not work well. I defrosted the first cup in the refrigerator and it was very runny. I'm trying the 2nd cup by defrosting it upside down at room temperature -- hoping that the upside down will get all the extra water off and make it possible to spread this on a bagel.
If you have no taste buds you can possibly eat it. Personally I would rather use it to patch my driveway.
can cheese be thawed and refrozen
Yes, of course it can.
yes
Do NOT refreeze their cheesecake! They even specifically say not to on their website. If it has already thawed out and you try to refreeze, it's much like putting melted ice cream back in the freezer. You can but just eat it quickly
You should never refreeze a thawed smoked turkey. However, once you cook a thawed turkey, you can freeze the meat.
can I refreeze cooked stuffed cabbage
yes
yes
No, it is not safe to refreeze any meat once it has thawed, however if you cook it you can then freeze it again.
It was too warm for the ice to refreeze. One the meat had thawed, they did not think it would be safe to refreeze it.
yes
Yes. It is preferable over trying to refreeze raw thawed chicken.
For most dishes you can, yes.
Yes, you can, but not too many times.
Not if it is raw and has been fully thawed. You can cook it and then refreeze it. Put it in an air tight container.
