I was just researching this and found this web site. http://www.tennesseecheesecake.com/FAQS.html It indicates you can (with their cheesecake by rewrapping it appropriately). I'm stretching to include Cheesecake Factory cheesecake (and others) in this advise. If we get sick I'll send a follow up!!! : )

∙ 14y agoI've tried this and it does not work well. I defrosted the first cup in the refrigerator and it was very runny. I'm trying the 2nd cup by defrosting it upside down at room temperature -- hoping that the upside down will get all the extra water off and make it possible to spread this on a bagel.

Do NOT refreeze their cheesecake! They even specifically say not to on their website. If it has already thawed out and you try to refreeze, it's much like putting melted ice cream back in the freezer. You can but just eat it quickly
