Can the barrel of a Winchester 1866 rifle be nickel plated?
Being made during that time span I am not sure if iron will hold a nickel plating.I am surprised that you would want to destroy the collection value of such a early made Winchester rifle by attempting to Nickel plate the barrel of this rifle in the first place. All Winchester collectors would be willing to pay a handsome price for a original Winchester model 1866 rifle.
Where can you find information about a Winchester Model 94 32 special rifle serial 101xxxx with a nickel barrel?
Hopefully you are looking at the barrel marking indicating a nickel steel barrel, and not that the rifle has been nickel plated. We would have to have a LOT more information to even hazard a guess on value. Condition, originality, any special order features....? Is it actually a rifle, or it is a carbine? Digital pictures would be a big help. firstname.lastname@example.org

What can you tell me about Winchester model 1906 serial 571791 It has some nickel plated parts Thanks Bert?
I can tell you that by your serial number your Winchester model 1906 rifle was made in the year 1919. I can also say that this model was made from 1906-1935,with a total production figure of 731,852.I must say Bert that I am not aware of any nickel plated parts for the model 1906,but that does not mean that they were not made. They also could have been Nickel plated at any time after production also.
What is the value of a Winchester 1894 25X35 saddle ring rifle with the nickel steel round barrel seriel number 330253 25-35 and what year was it manufactured?
What is the value of a Winchester model 1882 .32WCF octagonal barrel rifle with a serial number of 100566?
With the serial number that you have provided, your Winchester model 1894 rifle was made in the year 1925.I cannot asses a value of your Winchester model 1894 rifle without a detailed description of its overall condition,if any special orde features are present(special wood, type of magazine, type of barrel, barrel length, checkering if present.)I would need to know the amount of original blueing remaining also.
Winchester did a lot of custom work for customers they considered "special", but unless you've got some sort of paperwork from Winchester, you're going to have a hard time proving it was done at the factory. As engraving is done by hand, and one piece at a time, even if the pattern matches, if you or Winchester doesn't have some sort of documentation, the work will be in question.
Additional information is necessary to properly value your rifle. There were two models available in the Winchester Model 1906. One had a straight stock and the other had a pistol grip stock and was called a Model 1906 Expert. Which one do you have? Also, you did not say, if your rifle was partially trimmed in nickel or was fully nickel trimmed?
The Winchester Model 67 is a single-shot bolt-action .22 caliber rifle with a barrel-length of about 22". The Winchester 67A is a different , later, improved model of the pre-war model 67. The 67A has a 27 inch bbl, not a 22". This rifle also came in a short-stocked, 20 inch barrel version, which was, in fact, known as "the boy's rifle." The standard 67A is NOT the boy's rifle.... the "boy's rifle" is a…
In order to answer your question properly I would need to know if the rifle in question is a carbine(20in barrel),trappers carbine(12,14,15,16,18in barrel)Musket(30in barrel,2 barrel bands full length stock) or a regular production rifle(24in barrel).I would also need to know the caliber of the rifle, and if it is a take down model? If you can provide these answers I could accurately describe the value of your rifle.
What year did Winchester make a nickel plated model 1894 rifle if the serial number is unreadable and it only has one patent date on it?
It probably did not leave the factory with that finish. I would guess that the serial number is unreadable because the gun was polished too aggressively by whoever added the nickel plating. Without the serial number, a Winchester expert may be able to approximate the manufacture date by examining the gun, but the exact year cannot be determined.
When was the Winchester lever single shot 32 x long octagon barrel with serial number 9372 made and what is the value?
