Hamsters can get hiccups but they will just go away, like humans hiccups, to get rid of my hiccups i do a headstand and hold my breath. But obviously, a hamster cannot do that. So just give them fresh water, give them some food then it should be fine.

∙ 14y agohamsters very rarely get the hiccups but if they do, it is caused by a particle of dust on their lung, their lung has a spasm and tries to get it off
By the way, you wouldn't notice if your hamster had the hiccups anyway :)
