How is byakugan similar to the sharingan?
The Byakugan is much better because the Sharingan was derived from the Byakugan. That means the Sharingan was CREATED from the Byakugan. Just because the Byakugan can see chakra points, and the Sharingan has heightened skills or abilities, the Byakugan is still better, without the Byakugan, there is no Sharingan.

The Byakugan can also be used to look for incoming attacks and ambush, "Read" the eyes of another ninja and can see how much chakra another ninja has.

He didn't really become blind he just couldn't see on the episode Sasuke vs Kakashia naruto shippuden he been using that Mankeyo Sharingan so much. But he asked Madara for Danzo eyes he can now see.

Which clan is stronger hyga clan or uchia clan?
Both Hyuga and Uchiha specialize in taijutsu. In an actual battle, there would be conflict between the Hyuga's Byakugan and the Uchiha's Sharingan. If the Hyuga blocked off the Uchiha's chakra points, he would win. If the Uchiha used Sharingan he could see the Hyuga's thoughts and movements. Both clans are equally strong.
