I'm sorry. there is no way that a rear DVD system in any vehicle manufactured from the year 2002-present. However, you can set the radio panel in the front to RSE or (REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT). The front console when set to this, lets you listen in and monitor what is being played on the rear system. The only real control in newer vehicles over RSE's is to turn the car off and open the car door to cut off power.
Actually, the rear DVD can be operated and viewed from the NAV screen in the front with the sound coming from the vehicle speakers. All you have to do is park the van, apply the parking brakes, and select DVD on the mode switch. The picture will appear on the NAV screen and you can operate the features on the remote via the touch screen.

No. Only two player split-screen.
In mine...the factory mounted CD player is in the center console.
Your CD player is located in the console, directly below the stereo. The sliding door should be close to the floor board on the passenger side of the center console.
To remove the CD player on a 2004 Honda Civic Type R loosen all of the center console mounting screws. Take a plastic pry to pull back the center console from the clips. Gently remove the center console and loosen the screws holding the CD player to the cabin. Remove the player.
The CD player if you have one is located inside the Arm Rest Console.
