Generally speaking, no. It usually takes at least a few days for the report to be completed so whatever you get at the scene of the accident won't be much. Whatever the insurance company got from the police, you should be able to get it too.

People can compare different types of car accident insurance on the internet. There are a lot of websites that help do so. Another way to compare would be to open up each insurance company website and look through the different types side by side.

How do you get an accident claim against own car when the car is fully insured?

Report the accident to your insurance company. If this was a single car accident - meaning yours- your insurance will have to pay for the repairs minus your deductible. If another party caused the accident you need to turn their insurance information over to your company and they will take it from there.

First, you cannot find out what insurance company another person uses as this is a privacy issue. If you have had an accident with this person, the insurance company will be listed on the accident report. This is your only option for getting the insurance company name, unless the person wishes to tell you.

If you had an accident with no other cars involved and filed a claim to insurance with no police report do you have to report this accident to the new company if you get different insurance?

If you don't the new insurance company can cancel your coverage and possibly not cover any of YOUR losses. They might also consider it to be fraud. Any accident less than $750 isn't chargeable, but if you filled a claim with another insurance company your new company would found out even if you don't tell them, when they run your MVR which shows your tickets and previous insurance companies and claim paid.
