your turtle may also eat the fish. If the fish are bigger, you need to make sure they wont attack your turtle (if it is a lot smaller).
It is possible but it's like putting a crab inside a fish tank filled with fish. A crab will kill your fish in just a matter of time. Turtles aren't deadly, but they receive different care from fish. They require different water, different food and just about different everything! In other words, they may be fish, but they are treated and raised differently. Sometimes the turtles may be afraid of the fish or vise-versa. In other words, just don't try.
a lot of fish can, well mainly the common ones like a goldfish and many other common ones. and i know that because i actually had an aquarium with common fish in it with a turtle i dont know exactly what fish they were though. but it also depends on what type of turtle it is................ your welcome!!
i have a tank with 2 turtles and 12 fish, and they all get along very well. you need to find fish that are very like Danio's, and only get short fins fast and to turtles will end up stop trying to chase them all together.
My turtle is in a medium sized tank with some tropical fish including a cat fish and they are all fine together but all the tropical fish are big (well over 7inches). When i put some small zebra fish in he ate them and it's difficult to buy fish that are big already and i would recommend putting them in the tank in a net first so the turtle can get used to them.
Some people look at me funny when i say they are in together but they are all absolutely fine, however i don't think any pet shop would recommend it.
Yes turtle's can be with fish but if your female turtle has layed eggs I'd recamend not to because fish mistake the eggs for food
yes but it depends on how big the turtle is and how big the tank is :)
I wouldn't recommend it ! The turtles would view the fish as food - and would either simply eat the fish, or nibble the fins leaving the fish helplessly injured !
no it can not
NO! Turtles are reptiles and should be kept in a vivarium never in an aquarium with fish. Reptiles and amphibians will foul the water and the fish will not survive.
it depends if the turtle is small if its small it can live in small places example a small fish tank with some rocks in it a big turtle should live in a large tank with rocks in it
Yes, turtles can survive in many environments, as long as they are fed.
Yes, i have one but i also have lots of hiding places and plants for the fish.
Yes you can.
tee hee
Absolutely not
Only if you don't mind it eating the fish !
...........how can a fish tank have fresh water?????
probably not, the turtle will eat it.
Decomposers are microorganisms. They live in plant material in the fish tank,
