You can invite them to your town using friend codes. You get friend codes by talking to Copper and then say friend code. Now you tell your friend your friend code. Now they go to Copper and they go to travel. Now they should be able to come to your town. You can invite up to three people to your town at a time!

∙ 16y agoNot at the same time. You can create two characters and they can live in the same town but you cannot play both at the same time. They can leave each other mail but cannot in any other way interact. Now on the DS you can play Animal Crossing together but you must have 2 DSes and 2 animal crossing games.
