Yes!! Most everyone who got it died, it killed a third of Europe population in 1347 -1400. They haven't found a cure for it and 10- 20 people in the United states die from in a year, but you would have to be unbelievably filthy and have fleas in order to contract it, You get in from a flea's bite or being in close proximity to someone who has it.
