Can you be pregnant if your Depo shot expired 3 weeks ago that was the only shot you got and you haven't used any protection?

Additional information: ( I asked the Question ) I Was on different pills for a year as I had heavy and painful periods that were regular. I then chose the injection, after hearing that your periods eventually stop. However, I was on the injection for 6 months and I had a heavy period every single month. I stopped the injection on Oct 23rd and came on my period the next day. I had unprotected sex Nov 13, my next period due a week later, spotted for a day. My next period is due next week (Dec 19) and I am currently spotting, a week before my period. I have done pregnancy tests but they are negative. I thought it may be too early? And I know it is harder to get pregnant on the Depo and after stopping it, but as my periods were still heavy and regulay, I may be extremely fertile?

if the med it self expired the answer is no!! if you have been on it for a while say over 6 months my answer would still be not likely
