Best Answer

If a snake tries to swallow an animal that is too large to fit down its throat, it will choke. There have been snakes found who choked to death when they could not swallow the animal they had tried to eat. One really large python tried to eat a person. It killed the man, but choked when the man's shoulders got stuck in its throat.

yes, it can.. Somtimes. If it's a small garter or python, yes.

If it's a green aniconda that's about 22 feet long.. well, It'll most likely choke you instead.

It depends on the snake. A poor little garter snake - definitely An anaconda will probably turn the tables.

Of course. Any animal that breathes air can be strangled. And drowned, too, for that matter.
