This happened a couple of times with my cats, though they aren't purebreds. Either the kittens will have no tail, a normal tail, or even a "poof" tail that kind of resembles a rabbit's tail. (It's adorable!) --- Around half of the kittens will have normal tails, the other half may be a mix of no-tails and stumpy-tails.
More than likely all the kittens would have manx body characteristics such as a shortened tail or no tail at all and the shortened body and "bunny rabbit" back legs, but could have the color of the Russian blue or the other cat that was bred.
There's incomplete dominance for the "furred" gene. So if you breed a Sphynx (purebred hairless cat) with a Domestic Shorthair you will get hairless kittens, furry kittens, and crosses. The crosses have only one layer of fur, unlike the Shorthairs (which have an undercoat beneath their fur.) So they're adorably fluffy, don't shed a lot, and can be used as Sphynx breeding stock.
You can breed any type of cats, be they the same breed or different, as long as there are a male and female and both are old enough.
The most famous breed of hairless cat is the Sphinx.
The 'Sphynx' cat is a breed of cat with practically no visible fur, to the extent that it looks hairless.
