Can you bypass your gps module on your single din?
If you are talking about gps tracking in vehicles then you will be able to find the module and simply disconnect it. However, 99% of gps tracking devices in vehicles are monitored by independent software and any disconnection of the gps tracking module will send an instant alarm to the monitoring station (which is generally on the vehicle owners computer system and/or a monitoring company. See www.gpstracking.org.nz for more details. Hope this answers your question.
An application on the PDA, called GPS Catcher, can be used to download GPS data from the Internet. The program can be set to automatically update GPS data when it expires, or when the PDA is connected to the PC via ActiveSync. I tested the GPS feature with Google Maps and it worked. Note that it takes a while to get the GPS fix.
