No you'll need the frame serial number. it is located in the fron or below the motor on the frame. May be on a tag which indicates the year as well.
Contact your local police. If it was reported stolen, it should be in the system.
If you think it's stolen, ask the police to run the serial number.
No.
Contact your local police department and give them the serial number. The Police can check on the stolen gun list maintained by the BATFE. If the gun is stolen, the Police will conficate the piece and begin investigation of how it was acquired.
You can't. Contact the police if you believe it is stolen.
You have to check with the serial number that is on the engine.
If you mean check for stolen, there is no data base open to the public. Ask you local law enforcement if they will check the serial number agaisnt the NCIC database. They will want to have the firearm when they check it.
Check with local law enforcement. They can check the serial number against the NCIC data base for stolen firearms. This is a National database that is NOT available to the general public.
If it has a serial number, ask your local police force to check it out. If it doesn't, it would be almost impossible for anyone to prove it was stolen.
Contact your local law enforcement and have them check the serial number on the item. If it is reported stolen then the serial number should be entered into NCIC which is a national data base that stores all the stolen information that law enforcement enters. I would check it soon, but keep in mind if it is stolen then you will loose the money that you paid for it and you will have to tell the law enforcement where you got it. Dont think of it a snitching, think if it as a way to get your money back and be happy that you were not stopped for speeding and the item was check and you went to jail for possession of stolen property.
Check with the Michigan local or state police. They could tell if it was stolen or not.
Read it on the receiver <><><> If by "run", you mean check it against a database of stolen firearms, THAT database is available only to law enforcement. You can ask local police to check for you- they will want to have the gun in hand when they do that, in the event that it IS stolen.
