You can replace a gas water heater for an electric one and vice-versa but you cannot literally convert one to the other... The units work entirely differently from each other. == == <><><>
=== === Yes, but it is NOT a DIY job. You'll need 240 Volt power source for the new electric unit. Call in professional gas and electric technicians for estimates for the work, they will be able to advise you accordingly.
IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY SURE YOU CAN DO THIS JOB
SAFELY AND COMPETENTLY
REFER THIS WORK TO QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS.
If you do this work yourself, always turn off the power at the breaker box/fuse panel BEFORE you attempt to do any work AND always use a meter or voltage indicator to insure the circuit is, in fact, de-energized.

How electric water heater used electricity?

An electric water heater, also called an immersion heater, is an
insulated and waterproofed heating element that consists of the
right amount of resistance wire to draw the required power on the
given house supply.
The heating element is immersed in the water so that the heat it
produces will raise the temperature of the water.
For example a 3 kW water heater for a 240 v supply would have a
resistance of 31.7 ohms.

How electricity convert into heat from an electric geyser?

An electric geyser is an electric water heater, basically a wire
that goes hot when a current is passed through it. When this wire
is submerged in water, it'll heat the water.
Electrically, pretty much the same setup as if you'd have a huge
light bulb, but filled with water instead of a protective gas.

How can fix no hot water in the shower?

do you have an electric hot water heater,- or is it a
gas/ electric hot water heater system,- or is it a
mainbody boiler hooked up to the hot water tubing in the
house?
Ido have an electric w/h and I do have hot water @ the sink.
maybe your hot water heater or your mainbody
boiler PILOT light blew out-- remove the panel and check it
out and see if you can light it again
maybe your hot water tanks gas valve blew out-- you willl
need to buy another valve to replace it or maybe a whole new hot
water heater if the hot water heater is about 10 years old or
older.
maybe all the hot water was used up somewhere else in the house
or by someone else.
maybe your hot waters element heater blew out
maybe your hot water gas will not ignite because maybe the
Thermocouple Igniter is no longer any good and you need to
replace it.
