If you run the car without oil ..you have more problems than the injector rails..

you cant actaly damage them with lack of oil ..

however ..you will cause the motor to overheat and seize ..you will also stuff he pistons and the block ..the crank shaft will be hot welded to the piston rods..the valves at the top of the motor will be stuck and they will be worn down ..running a motor without oil ..would result in a whole engine rebuild ..or the cheaper option of replace the whole lot ...DONT RUN THE CAR WITHOUT OIL ..

How much oil needed in gas tank to make serious damage to car?

I don't believe any amount of oil in the gas would do 'serious damage', - it would possibly plug up your fuel pump and definitely plug up the carb or injectors, but the engine would die of fuel starvation before 'serious damage' happened.

Can you ruin your engine from bad injectors?

Leaking injectors that are allowing fuel to flow after shutdown, will allow fuel to flow into the cylinder. This fuel will mix with the oil and dilute it's lubricrating ability. This will cause engine wear and will eventually cause serious engine damage.

Can leaking fuel injectors cause engine damage?

Very much so. Excess fuel caused by a leaking injector can wash the bore, this can cause a seizure. Also excess fuel can dilute the engine oil, again causing a possible engine seizure . And on a lighter note, leaking injectors can certainly damage the contents of your wallet.

The fuel regulator on your car has been changed and the oil and plugs but still having gas in the oil and heavy blue smoke and gas in the exhaust could this be bad fuel injectors?

Blue smoke sounds like oil burning you probably have internal engine problems and should see a mechanic, you might try replacing your PCV valve, those are cheap and cause oil consumption problems, might cause some fuel problems. usually fuel in the engine oil indicates a fuel leak either injectors or carb which ever the car is equipped with the smoke indicates that exsessive cylinder wall or piston ring damage may have allready occured when oil is mixed with gas it looses its ability to lubricate

What might be the damage of engine mixing oil and fluid?

If the oil is turning grey, it could be a blown head gasket, or busted water jacket. If it's fuel in the oil, it depends on what kind of fuel system. Fuel injected systems can have leaking manifold gaskets and leaking injectors. Systems with carburetors can have stuck floats causing fuel to mix with oil. Water doesn't hurt as bad as antifreeze, which can damage bearings. Fuel in oil thins the oil lowering its viscosity and causing more wear.

What cause fuel in engine oil 1994 accord?

Leaking injectors.

How do you replace 1992 Nissan KA24E fuel injector O rings?

with the car off, pull out the fuse for the fuel pump, its located in the fuse box in the engine bay. With the fuse removed, start the car. its should run for a few seconds and die. with this done, remove the bolts and screws holding the fuel injectors and fuel rail assembly together. Pull out the injectors, and pull the upper and lower o rings off the injector. Take the new injectors and rub a little oil on them prior to installing them on the injectors, or putting the injectors back i nthe fuel rail assembly. install is the reverse of removal. reinstall the fuse, and start the car, checking for leaks.

Can you add oil if you put gas in a diesel engine?

Putting gas in a diesel engine will not be fixed by adding oil. The fuel needs to be drained or pumped out if the mixture is too high. If only a few liters of gasoline were put into a tank of diesel, adding a diesel fuel conditioner could help. Gasoline will damage diesel fuel pumps and injectors because it does not have the lubricating properties of diesel. The fuel pump and injectors need lubrication from the diesel fuel or they will seize up and be destroyed.

What is the signs of oil damage to a car?

How can lack of oil pressure prevent my 7.3 diesel from starting?

Simply put these engines use an injection system called HEUI or Hydraulically-actuated, Electronically-controlled Unit Injectors. These injectors require a high pressure oil pump to supply the injectors oil pressure to actuate the internal injector piston to push fuel into the system. No oil pressure, no fuel.

What does a fuel filter do on a diesel engine and would it affect the accselaration if blocked?

1) It prevents damage to injectors and engine from debris in fuel. 2) Yes. This filter should be replaced at every other oil change to prevent power loss.
