yes. using a diamond bit and water.
Seed drills have been traced back as early as the Babylonians, who used a tube device. The first known European seed drill has been attributed to Camillo Torello, it was patented in 1566.
A buret is a glass tube with fine gradations and a stopcock at the bottom, used in laboratory procedures.
Cathode ray.
The Sumerians used primitive single-tube seed drills around 1,500 BCE, but the invention never reached Europe. Multi-tube seed drills were invented by the Chinese in the 2nd century BCE.[2] The first known European seed drill was invented by Camillo Torello and patented by the Venetian Senate in 1566. A seed drill with a detailed description is known from Tadeo Cavalina of Bologna in 1602.[2] In England, the seed drill was further refined by Jethro Tull in 1701 in the Industrial Revolution. It is often thought that the seed drill was introduced in Europe following contacts with China, where the invention was very ancient and highly developed.[2] Seed drills would not come into major use in Europe until the mid-19th century.
A pitot tube is used to measure local velocity in a flowing fluid. The pitot tube hole must face the flowing fluid. The local velocity, u , is given by : u = SQRT [ ( delta P ) ( 2 ) ( g sub C ) / ( rho ) ]
Read on! You'll use these same techniques to drill glass, glass block, tile, stone, granite, wine bottles, sea glass and marble. # # Use diamond bits to drill your glass, not carbide bits. # Use diamond hole saws to drill holes 1/4" and larger or to drill holes in thick glass like glass block or wine bottles. # Use plenty of lubrication/coolant to keep your drill tip cool and the hole clean. # Use less pressure! Let your drill bit drill at it's own pace. # Start diamond hole saws at 600-900 RPM. # Start diamond drill bits at 2500-5000 RPM. If you use these 6 secrets, drilling glass and tile is quick and easy. The FAQs below should answer any other questions you might have. * http://www.drillglass.com/hehiforbe.html
A test tube is usually made from plastic or glass and is shaped like a long tube. If used for a physics or chemistry experiment, one would use the glass test tube. If used for cultures, one would use the plastic tube and discard after use.
He would not have had a barometer. He would have had a glass tube stuck into a bowl of Mercury, with nothing in it. Because once the hole was made the vacuum would be gone and the mercury would fall back down to the bowl.It takes the vacuum in the tube to create a barometer.

No, the light producing quartz arc tube is totally enclosed in a borosilicate glass envelope which contains nitrogen gas. This is a completely sealed unit so no vapours are released.

maybe because it is actually a square tube with chiseled edges with a drill bit in the center of the square tube-- The drill bit drills out most of the wood meat and the square chiseled tube slices down the sides of the wooden hole making it square thus creating a tenon hole.
I had the same problem and fixed it. Your air conditioner run off tube is plugged. It is located on the drivers side on the floor near the center console. It is in the corner of the floor board. If you pull the carpet up, you will see a plastic L shaped tube. To fix the problem, just drill a hole in this tube, and put a clothes hanger into the hole to release the clog. After that, fill the hole with Epoxy.
don't drill it use a punch to cut the hole. small holes can be made with a leather punch (hollow) or a solid punch on a block of wood. Larger holes can be cut with a sharpened tube on a bock of wood.
