look in te manual :-)
most shop manuals have these specs in them. also, most head gasket manufacturers put the torque specs on the package. make sure you torque the bolts in the correct sequence also.
It is in a shlp manual from AUTOBOOKSONLINE.COM
Metric fluid bolt spec? Exactly what does that mean? You want the torque specifications of a certain bolt. What bolt, used to attach what are you referring to?
You need to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.
go to autozone.com current vehicle upper left choose car repair info vehicle repair guides u may b able to find it there
Always torque in zig zag pattern... snug up all bolts first then torque the corners head bolts ( starting at the top left side looking down at the head )then go back up to the top left ,where you orginially started and torque up the next bolt over. Then go to the bottom right and torque the next bolt over from the corner .Then go to the top right and torque one bolt from the corner, then bottom left one bolt from the corner and work your way into the center. Torque the top bolt first when you get to the center ........always remenber when your checking the torque... you check the same way as you installed. Have fun the older vr-6's are the best ones to have... just hard to find parts
Yes, there is a torque setting, but rarely does anyone torque that particular bolt. Torque it to 25 lb/ft until you can find out the correct torque setting. Call a Ford dealer or look in your owner's manual for the exact torque.
It will "bolt up", but there is an issue with the torque converter. You will need to either have a standard torque converter machined/welded, or you will need to find the special torque converter that came on a 151/TH350 setup from the factory. I do not know if one actually exists, but I am looking.
On my 2001 MPV, the Tourque sequence in on the hood of the car....Mine is a CA car...but I would think this would be standard. -Andy
