The answer to this question should be yes, if they have a serial number at all then that number will be different for each guitar. However the Gibson, Fender copies coming out of China have also copied authentic serial numbers.

look inside the sound hole and up toward the neck, it should be visible as a black or blue ink stamp directly on the wood.
