Yes, if you join the military, your parents sign papers saying it's ok, or you get a judge to declare you capable of caring for yourself. unfortunately, the only one that doesn't require parental permission is the last one, and you have to have a source of income and a place to live. Yes it is legal to be emancipated in Louisiana at a young age. 15 years old is the youngest. At least one of the parents has to consent to the emancipation and must appear in court.
