Yes they can. to adopt, click on the phone and select "call.../service" your sim will dial the phone. a screen will appear with a list of services. select "Adoption Service" If your request is approved, soon you will get your new child!

∙ 14y agoYou can adopt in Sims 3 world adventures. The Sims 3 games are just add ons. You can always do the same thing just more. I don't know if you can adopt a child from another place such as Egypt.

∙ 12y agoYes. All you have to do is click the sim, press cell phone, and click adopt pet from shelter. There will be a variety of pets. But if you don't find one you want, you can go to edit town, go to Create A Household, and create the pet however you want it to be! Hope this helps! :)
