Yes you can! I had not lost all my baby teeth before I had braces, so they simply removed them and put the brackets on around the gaps. An orthodontist will most likely put the braces on, but skip your loose tooth, as the brackets are put on individually. Once it falls out and starts to grow in, they'll put a bracket on it to join the others in the treatment. Hope this helps!
Um, loose as in about to come out? I don't see why not, but you should ask your dentist on that one. I am 15 and I have been wearing braces for a few days now. They weren't loose but I don't see why that would prevent you from getting them. The only way I see them causing a problem would be if they were extremely loose, and I would immediately schedule an appointment if that were to happen. I hope I was able to clarify a few things for you and good luck.
You can, but so long as you have no milk teeth left, i have braces and i have all my teeth grown adult teeth and one is small and still growing, all they do is put the wire across to the next one and carry on and will put a bracket on it once it has grown..x
yes because the braces would straigten your teeth still
Yes, children who are younger than 10 have braces. They work around the milk teeth and wait for them to come out to straighten those permanent teeth.
yes i don't think so because you will have braces for at least two years and by that time the tooth will have probably grown to a full one so i think you will have to wait.
No, braces are for making teeth straight. If you have other problems go to the dentist.
Hopefully, they are solid, not loose. You can go through getting braces and having your permenant teeth pulled down, but you may not even have permenant ones.(adult teeth) And most insurance don't cover adult ortho. It is not uncommon to still have baby teeth. If they do get loose you may be able to have a bridge made to fill in the gaps.
Usually if you want to know if you need braces you can just ask your dentist at a regular appointment if they haven't suggested it or talked to you about it already. If one is going to get braces the age can be from around eleven right up to mid to late teens, as this is when all baby teeth will hopefully have fallen out, and your new teeth will be the ones you have for the rest of your life; even though i know several adults who have braces! hope this helps!
No. 11 is not too late for braces. It may even be too early depending on how many "baby" teeth the child has. Adults are even able to get braces with good results.
No. The dentist would always be sure your teeth were healthy before putting the braces on. If you had over-lapping teeth (your teeth are too large to let others come in aligned your dentist may pull the odd one) before the braces are applied.
Absolutely, and even better time to get them. With braces it is harder to keep your teeth clean; and anything that can be done to prevent cavities would be great.
no they would'nt give braces three times if they even thought that you teeth might fall out.
You can get braces at any age. However, if you have missing teeth it may cause a problem because your front teeth will take more of the biting forces and may later move more easily after the braces come off. I would suggest visiting an orthodontist or dentist who offers orthodontics to see what your options are. Braces are a band of metal that raps around your teeth and eventually make them straighter. You go once every month, they tighten them and you pick a new color. Don't worry braces don't hurt that bad, but you need to be careful with them and make sure you brush your teeth after every meal or snack because you could get yellow teeth when they take them off, puffy gums and food stuck in your braces! So when you get braces you just need to make sure you are careful to brush all the time.
