A state suspends the driver not the license. If I (with a UK license) was suspended from driving in Virginia, I'd be unable to drive there. So, yes they can. Whether or not they tell Tennessee is another matter.

I had to do the same but different states i tried to get my DL back in 2 states and both use the national database and pulled up my record they saw it was susspended and told me in order to get my DL there I would have to fix it in the other state and get a release and a whole bunch of other letters but i had them fax those.

Not legally. You must have a valid DL to drive on a public road in Tennessee. A suspended license would not be considered valid.

No you cannot. Suspensions are reported to the NCIC and then to all the states. If your license is suspended by your home state you cannot then go to another state and obtain a license.

That would not be allowed. You cannot hold a license in more than one state at a time, and a suspended license counts.
