The only way to spread HIV/AIDS is by transferring blood from one person to another. And various tests have proven that HIV/AIDS cannot be spread through saliva. So the only way this is possible is if the smoker was bleeding, and there was blood on the cigarette afterwards, and the person who then took the cigarette was also bleeding.
