Can you get worms from eating old chocolate?

From what i have heard you can only get worms from toching mud and not washing under your finger nails afterwards because the thread worms eggs get caught, then you bite your nails or eat something and the eggs are getting digested but worms dont generelly live on chickens.

no, you dont typically get them from chickens, hoever you may get round worms from uncooked pork

Yes, it can. I have absolutely no idea where it comes from, I was actually just searching for that to figure it out when I ran across this question. I know from personal experience that it can and sometimes does when it gets old. I've had that happen to me a few times when I was little and saved my candy for too long. I decided to eat a Russel Stover Valentine's Day chocolate box one time that I'd had for a while, and when I opened it little white worms were laying in the box and there were holes in the chocolate. This can also happen with old Hot Chocolate mix, as I've had that happen to me too, and was drinking it until I looked in my mug and saw little worms on the sides of the mug and in the drink itself. I'm wondering if maybe chocolate has worm eggs in it that are hatched after a while if the chocolate isn't eaten.
