Can you get your period a week late that is light and then really heavy with bad cramps and be pregnant?

I have heard of it happening, but in all honesty I don't see how. The clots and heavy bleeding is your womb lining coming away, this is where your baby grows. Either your not pregnant and it's your period or you may have miscarried.

It is possible to still have a period and be pregnant/ Having a heavy period while pregnant could mean problems with the pregnancy. If you suspect you may be pregnant, take a home pregnancy test.
