What vitamins can you give dogs?

Yes, although you put the dog at the same risk that humans are at when they take vitamins. In the United States, vitamins and supplements are not regulated by the FDA for safety or dose - each batch could have different amounts of the vitamins and you would not know.

Also, if your dog is eating a commercially available dog food, he really doesn't need any additional vitamins. The dog food companies work very hard to ensure that their kibbles are complete and balanced nutrition in every bite.

well if the dose was small it would probobaly get a little sick.... if its larger....well idk.... No major worry, leave plenty of water out for it and feed it soft food and the vitamins will be absorbed and passed out soon enough

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, so your dog will simply excrete the excess (most of the supplement) into his urine, making the supplement nothing more than a way to make your dog's urine more expensive.
