It shouldn't be two weeks apart it should be three about every 21 days. Also it's because your bodies hormones tell your overies to release an egg once a month. When the egg gets to the uturus it fills with blood so if and when the egg becomes fertalized the uteris will have nutrients to help it grow. WHen it doesn't get fertalized the body gets rid of the blood.

∙ 12y agoIt is perfectly normal. My friend, she had a period for 2 weeks and she's fine. You can have 2 periods in a month; you can have 1. It depends how your body is working. Your body is going through puberty (becoming a woman). Having a period is letting out the 'eggs' (babies). Guys don't get to experience this!
