I believe home schooling (make sure he/she is actually learning and not being lazy at home) would be more effective from kindergarten until he reaches middle school (put him in a charter school) because he/she will be more willing to study. Putting he/she in home schooling for a tremendous amount of time will probably make the child antisocial or intolerant towards people.
I know what elementary and middle school can make a kid into unless you live in a nice neighborhood and environment.
Well, it depends because different school districts have the grades grouped differently. Most commonly, it goes like this: Elementary School: Kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 5-11) Middle School: 6th through 8th grade (ages 11-14) High School: 9th through 12th grade (ages 14-18) But sometimes it's: Elementary: Kindergarten through 6th grade (ages 5-12) Middle: 7th and 8th grade (ages 12-14) High: 9th through 12th grade (ages 14-18) Or Elementary: Kindergarten through 4th grade (ages 5-10) Middle: 5th through 8th grade (ages 10-14) High: 9th through 12th grade (ages 14-18) And, this used to be the norm back in the older days, and is not common anymore, but some school systems do still do it like this: Elementary: Kindergarten through 6th grade (ages 5-12) Junior High (not middle school): 7th through 9th grade (ages 12-15) High School: 10th through 12th grade (ages 15-18)
You sound a bit confused? Ok, so a post secondary school is what you go to after you graduate from high school/secondary school. Example university or college. The school system can work in different ways, it depends where you are. They can either go.... 1. Elementary school- kindergarten - grade 7 Then secondary school- grade 8- grade 12 Or 2. Elementary school- Kindergarten - grade 5 Then middle school- grade 6 - grade 8 Then finally high school- grads 9 - grade 12
He attended kindergarten in Hawaii, then went with his mom and new step-dad to Indonesia for four years. He returned to Hawaii by the time he was in the fifth grade, living with his maternal grandparents. He attended grades 5 through 12 (some sources say 6 through 12), graduating from the Punahou School in 1979.

Yes they do. You start when you're either 4-5 in Kindergarten then you go to Elementary which for us is First through Sixth grade (6-11), you graduate when you're in sixth grade. Then you to Jr. High or Intermediate School which is only for three years (12-14), there you do Seventh through Ninth grade and you graduate when you're in ninth grade. After that you reach High School which is three more years (15-17) and there you course Tenth to Twelfth grade and you graduate when you're in twelfth grade. After you choose to either a technical institute or university or just go out and work if you're highschool was a vocational one.
