How do you hook up a sony Blu-ray player to a TV through a DISH receiver?
In most cases you are unable to hookup a Blu-Ray or DVD player through a DISH receiver since they only have outputs, and no inputs. If your Blu-Ray player does have an input, all you would have to do is run a cable from the receiver to the input on the Blu-Ray device, then from the device in to your TV. Make sure it's on the correct input and you're good to go.

Where do you hook up remote wire when using stock CD player?
the remote wire only needs a power source for the amp to turn on, so if u have a looped cable running from the remote input on the amp to the front of the car with a switch and then back to the power cable on the amp u can control when the amp is on just by turning the switch on or off. otherwise u will have to figure out which cable on the back of the stereo is switched power, or which cable only supplies power when the car is running. and that would require a wiring diagram.
How do you hook up a VCR and DVD player to a TV with only one cable plug on the back of it?
Hooking Up a VCR and DVD to a TV with One Cable Plug Hook the incoming cable from either the antenna, satellite, or cable system to the VCR. From there go to the DVD player, and then to the TV. Answer It sounds like you're trying to hook AV awesome cables from your DVD player to your TV which only has an AC input. If this is the case, try using an AC cable (ordinary antenna cable) to connect your VCR to your TV by plugging one end into the output the other to your TV. (There are typically two AC plugs on a VCR, one is input the other output.) Look on your VCR for AV input. These are plugs that are red, white and yellow. Some VCR's only have white and yellow. There should be three, or six plugs (two, or four if you have a mono VCR) Plug the Yellow chord into the yellow input socket, and be sure it's not plugged into the output socket. Do likewise with the White chord, and if you have a red plug do the same. There should be simalar atachments on your DVD player. Be sure to plug the chords into the sockets marked output on the DVD player. In order to watch a DVD, you will need to turn your TV to channel 3, or 4, and set your VCR to its video monitoring setting. This varies with each VCR. Usally there is a button on the remote that Says VIDEO. Other times it is a channel number (I've seen 91, 00, 100). If you want to watch TV, plug the tv cable into the VCR's input(usally right next to the output). If you still have trouble, I would suggest, plugging everything in and out and play with it until you have a picture. And, if you're VCR doesn't have AV input, you can buy a converter at your electronics provider. Ask the geek behind the counter for an AV to AC converter.

Can a modem either DSL Cable style also be a router and why?
a modem takes cable input and output goes to only 1 Ethernet cable. A router takes the 1 Ethernet cable and makes it so that you can hook up four or five Ethernet cables. a wireless router allows you to hook up 4 or 5 Ethernet cables and unlimited amounts of wireless receivers. If you only have 1 computer, you don't need a router. You only need 1 Ethernet cable. To put it in simple terms : Yes, many newer external modems have full router and firewall functionality built-in to a single device

How do you split digital cable from one TV to Two TVs?
SEVERAL FACTORS. IF YOU ONLY HAVE 1 RECIEVER, PLUG LINE FROM WALL INTO THE INPUT ON YOUR RECIEVER. THEN, HOOK A CABLE WIRE FROM OUTPUT TO A SPLITTER & RUN A CABLE FROM EACH SIDE OF THE SPLITTER TO EACH RESPECTIVE TV. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT BOTH TV'S WILL HAVE TO WATCH THE SAME THING AS THERE IS ONLY ONE RECIEVER FEEDING BOTH TV'S.

How can you bypass your big screens bad tuner by using a VCR am confused by so many in out av ac cables?
Hi ! This only applies assuming that this is a cable/antenna tuner not a HD or digital signal . What you'll need to do is find a free input on your tv such as input 1 , 2 , 3 etc . Connect the vcr to the free input using the ouput on the vcr . Then you will hook up your cable/antenna hookup into your vcr's INPUT or LINE IN whatever they call it . Turn on vcr and tv . Be sure to put tv on proper input which would be what ever free input you decided on for the vcr . Then you'll need to turn your vcr to the tuner input . Sometimes you have to press the input button to get there . From that point you will use the vcr remote to change channels .
